Ertan Enginalev founded WSD Capital Management in 2014 to build a firm that commits capital and time where change is inevitable, and steps in quietly when others refuse to.
He leads the firm’s portfolio and risk management, with a focus on event-driven opportunities and special situations. With two decades of experience in financial markets, Ertan has concentrated on mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring. Arenas where discipline, timing, and governance decide outcomes.
Ertan began his career as an investment banker in mergers and acquisitions, advising companies at critical moments of transition. That experience sharpened his conviction that the real test of leadership is how decisions are made under pressure; a principle that shapes his engagements with boards and management teams today.
He holds a BBA and an MBA from the University of Miami’s School of Business.
